Position: Carer (Male/Female) – Learning Disability/Supported Living

This opportunity is designed for male and female carers, residing in the UK, to secure a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for roles in learning disability and supported living care. Applicants must have relevant care experience and hold a valid UK driving license, either manual or automatic, depending on the vehicle requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in supported living settings.
• Assist clients with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, and promoting independence.
• Drive to various client locations (for domiciliary care) or provide on-site care in supported living settings.
• Monitor the health and well-being of clients, ensuring timely communication with healthcare professionals when needed.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for clients with learning disabilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Visa Requirements:

• Applicants must currently reside in the UK on any valid visa with at least 3 months of remaining validity.
• Family visa eligibility is available for those with dependents.
• Students can apply under a single visa but must have healthcare experience.

Driving License Requirements:

• Manual License: A manual car will be provided by the employer.
• Automatic License: Candidates with an automatic driving license must own a car to fulfill the job requirements.

Experience Requirement:

• Prior experience in general care is mandatory. Experience in care for individuals with learning disabilities or supported living is a plus.
• Training and additional support will be provided by the employer for those with general care experience but limited experience in the specific care areas.

Training Requirement:

• Individuals not currently on a care visa must complete mandatory care training, with a £500 fee applicable.
• Additional training will be provided for candidates who need to enhance their skills in learning disability and supported living care.

Application Process:

1. Document Submission:

   • Candidates must submit an enhanced CV detailing their relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

2. Interview Preparation:

   • Candidates will receive interview preparation support to ensure success in interviews with potential employers.

3. Interview:

   • An interview will be scheduled with the employer.

4. Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and Job Offer:

   • Successful candidates will receive a job offer and a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) upon passing the interview.

Fee Structure:

• Training Fee: £500 (non-refundable) for those not already on a care visa.
• Consultancy Fee: £350 (non-refundable), covering the cost of finding a suitable employer.

Timeline:
The process from submission to receiving the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is expected to be completed within three months after a successful interview.
